PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

QUALITY INSTRUCTIONAL DELIVERY ENGAGES STUDENTS

We greatly appreciate our regions support and expectation of high quality professional development.

TREES is a recognized leader in providing on-going and high quality staff development opportunities for teachers, counselors, and administrators.  Both Neal and Brian have had opportunities to present (and highlight our region) in regional, state, and national CTE workshops.  These include:  The National ACTE "Visions" conference, ACTE Region III Conference, National Association of Supervisors of Agricultural Education conference, Joint Annual Conference of IASB, IACTE, Connections, and IFACTSA.  Our Resources page includes a variety of presentation summaries.

Professional development opportunities focus on current trends in education and quality instructional delivery.  Our PD activities run a spectrum of topics including: Math in CTE, Language Arts in CTE, Science in CTE, Quality Assessments in the PARCC era, Professional Portfolio Development in the Danielson era, student portfolio development, and a variety of other opportunities.

TREES also promotes and encourages our educators to participate in attending conferences to stay current with best practices and developments in their content area. We strongly encourage your participation and welcome your suggestions for upcoming professional development offerings.

Each year, TREES professional development programs result in our teachers earning thousands of hours in CPDU's!
