Holly Camerano

Executive Director

Holly Camerano is an experienced Career and Technical Education (CTE) leader with over 15 years in education. She began as a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher in Plainfield and Joliet, bringing real-world relevance to the classroom. Holly later served as Assistant Director for College and Career Pathways at DAOES and the Technology Center of DuPage, where she expanded dual credit and certification opportunities, supported new teachers, and helped integrate emerging technologies into instruction.

She has worked with 14 DuPage-area districts to align pathways with state standards, led professional development, and strengthened partnerships between schools, colleges, and industry. Holly holds advanced degrees in Teacher Leadership and Principal Preparation from Concordia University Chicago, and a Master’s in Family and Consumer Sciences from Eastern Illinois University. She is passionate about building equitable, innovative CTE programs that prepare students for future success.

Michelle Stephenson

Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant

Michelle joined TREES in October 2022 after earning an Associate's degree from Ball State University in 2019. Before joining TREES, she served as the executive administrative assistant and communications coordinator at Ball Brothers Foundation. In her role at TREES, Michelle handles office bookkeeping, supports the director and board, submits monthly reports to ISBE, and manages daily office operations.
